The Window Kitty

After I was so cute again yesterday, I decided to turn things around again! The day started like any other day in the weekend: cuddling with mom in bed and getting up really reallt late! That's exactly how we, kitties, ROLL! The weather was sooo nice today and I naturally felt like going outside and chase imaginary things! So, after we spent almost the entire day (exaggeration) in bed, mom got up. She never likes to get up, so I try to be cute and stall her, haha! You'd be amased at how great I am at that! At every single movement she makes I cuddle next to her (or on top, working my weight) and start purring. It only seems to be working in the weekends, though; never thought of it like that. We're mistreated anyways, because when mom gets up on days that are not in the weekend, she always has to hurry and leaves the house soon after, not returning home after HOURS and HOURS. I feel so neglected when she treats me like that? Why does she even have to leave and can't she stay with us and cuddle? I know that she's aware of the fact that I crave her cuddles and kisses. That does make me sad sometimes, but that wasn't at all what I was trying to say! Because today was a happy day and we cuddled with mom a lot today. When it's 'one of those special days' mom often opens the bedroom window to get some fresh air into the room. This is when I come in! It seems like mom doesn't like it when I'm doing my stuff, because lately she is trying to barricade the window. I think it has something to do with me and my sister falling out of the window last summer. Pitts even took a stroll in the garden when mom wasn't at home and I think it kinda shocked mom. But we're sensible kitties! We can take care of ourselves...I think... So now she's putting all kinds of strange pots and cans in front of the window, preventing us from falling out of the window. (Don't ask me why we fall down in the first place...don't even go there). But thinking about, I kinda know where's she coming from and why she's worried. I know she loves us dearly and bla bla bla. I know it all, but that doesn't make it right! So, I planned a counter-attack! Three times in a row I kicked all the cans to the ground, unscrewing their lids. Weird plant-like things (dried herbs for Fuzzies) scattered all over the floor EQUALS angry mom! I wouldn't change a thing to my plan when I get the chance next time...:P

The Sheet Kitty

So, here I am again! Did you miss me? Other than my normal mischievous behaviour, my mom thought I was quite cute. Although I did cry a lot this week and wanted constant attention. But I guess mom is kinda used to that. I fill my days with strolling around, whining for food and digging holes in sheets.
I'd like to discuss the latter, because it remains to be a very peculiar hobby of mine. In the outside world I feel the urge to cry and so do I when I'm in my sheety fantasyworld (But I also love to play pranks on mom). This week mom was doing her strange stuff she always does in the bathroom :S. I suddenly started to cry and call for attention...then silence. Then mom appears, following the sound of my cries. (it wasn't April's Fool yet :P) But...she couldn't find me! hehehe, I was h
idden. She called my name and strangely I always respond to that; giving away my hide-away. I wanted to greet her and show her what a good girl I was, but then I found myself stuck and tangled in the sheets! The horror! I started to cry and panic. Mom obviously saw the sheets moving frantically and I thought I could here her laugh. That's not fair! Mom carefully pulled away the sheets and the Poppy was free again at last! Mom saved the day!

How kitties get into trouble...

Hello there guys!
Mom has been very busy so I took my chance to finally write some really exciting! Once every now and then I get into trouble! But usually I'm a very sweet kitty, I'm sure you all know that.
I'll tell you what happened that dreadful day!
It all started this Monday when I was fooling around, enjoying myself by running through the bedroom. All of a sudden I found something really interesing underneath the bed. Something potent
ially YUM! I don't quite understand what happened (since I'm usually such a sensible kitty) but 'it' somehow got into my soft Meezer belly. It was AWFUL! I started to panic and began to Meow REALLY loudly. I kinda sounded like a poor distressed kitty and mom immediately came running into the bedroom, calling for me. Underneath the bed I came crawling, my mouth full of foam.
Mom freaked out; panicked! Running around the room crying, asking me what happened. Silly kitty as I am I couldn't answer her questioning. And I didn't have time to worry about that, because I felt I could potentially be the sickiest kitty to ever walk this earth. I was sooo nauseous. Mom was running around and I was following her. I think she was looking for the things I might've eaten. Of course she couldn't find it, since she doesn't fit underneath the bed (although she is working out ^0^)
I followed her downstairs and layed down on the sofa. Then mom panicked even more because I was breathing heavely and I was panting. I wish I could tell you how MISERABLY I felt!
After a while a friend of my mom entered the house. I was too sick too wonder and I saw my mom getting sicker and sicker by the minute, until she finally hit the floor. So now there were the two of us to worry about!
The friend put me i
n a crate that is very familiar to me. And as expected I didn't go in voluntarily. =D OH NO I thought. We're going to see that horrible kittydoctor again. NOES DO NOT WANT! defenitely NOT. It turned out to be even worse than the last couple of times. They pinched my tummy and gave me uhh 1...2...3! horrendous shots! The last one was so horrible it sent me straight into my crate again. Why are they using those torture devices when they try to make me better??
On our way back home
I got terribly naueous again. The friend called mom and asked her what to do. Ofcourse mom gave her some epic advice, because my mom knows exactly what I need. To be with her until I get better. And that exactly what happened when we returned home. Mom got also very ill ( I think she tried to take the illness away from me =D ) and was laying on the sofa covered in a soft and warm blanket. The friend was so kindly to put me on top of mom, so we could support each other; the sickly duo.
Mom was sick for a few more days, but I got better really soon. According to my sister this is because, we kitties, are superior to the human kind. I thin
k she has a point there....

Kind Regards,

The everlasting purring kitty Pitts
