Photo Friday: Meezer style

Okay, officially it's not Friday anymore, but who cares :P People in the US still consider it to be Friday, heck, even people in the UK still consider it Friday.

Found this photo of Poppy, taken in 2011, I think. Just wanted to share her intense look and beautiful blue eyes.

Sometimes it's hard to even keep your eyes open

Dear followers! My apologies, my laziness took over :P However, I have not shied away from taking photos of my beautiful girls, so in the near future you're in for a treat!

My girls spend their days being as lazy as I am. Enjoying every shy ray of sun peeking through one of my large windows. Depending on what time it is, the sun chooses the windows carefully. Relaxing on my bed, or on the sofa is what they love to do. Anywhere, as long as I am around. I also set up their not-so-new play house. I bought it when I was still living with my room mate and there was plenty of room to set it up somewhere, but after I moved to another, smaller, apartment, I tucked it away in some dark corner, and I almost forgot about it. A shame really, since the girls love it so much. Due to all the playing it has lost a lot of its former glory; the roof collapsing every now and then, but I still consider it cute. The play house has become a secret hide-away for Poppy's mousies, which is absolutely adorable! Every time I lift the roof a bit and peek, I can see a wide variety of toys, different each time.
And all that playing and tumbling can tire a little cat. When mousies become blurry and soft cat paws begin to drag, head begin to drop, a kitty knows it's important to find a soft and quiet place to take a nap. Even though my cats are usually all over the place, throwing toys into the air like a professional tennis player, they are notorious for their amount of naps. One cannot blame them, as they completely take after their mother

Back in the game again

Sorry dear followers for not blogging for such a long time, but, unfortunately, some gruesome last weeks at University got the better of me. Even though I really love my study, it can be a handful. But of course you don't care so much about me, as you care about the girls! Fully understandable, no hard feelings at all!

The girls, of course, are doing wonderfully. At this moment Poppy is chewing on a heavily mutilated mousie. Its complete insides are scattered all over the room, but she still loves it. So, being a good mum, I decided not to take it away from her. I will take a picture of this poor poor mousie soon. (I'm taking a glance at it now, and it seems that Poppy just ripped its head off, or something...) It's extremely cruel, but I think it has already been put out of its misery :P Pitts is just being a sweet girl, sitting on the edge of my bed. They have accustomed wonderfully to their new surroundings. They enjoy it so much more here than at the old place, even though this apartment has no stairs to chase each other on.

The ratties are also doing well! Only had to go to the vet once, because Oliver hurt his hind leg, but that was about it. Eòghann is about to be a father (around next month) and I will be getting babies from that. This is a once in a lifetime thing (as Eòghann is not a breeder rat, but just a pet rat), and I would be stupid to decline the offer.

I will definitely try to post more often again, since I'm having VACATION! WOOHOOOO

Window Beauty

The other day I managed to take some gorgeous photos of my dearest little Pitts. She's just so elegant and lady like. By the photos you can already tell how different she is from her sister Poppy.

Enjoy! I still have a lot of new photos, so don't you worry!

By the way, (double) click on the photos if you want to see the full-size versions!

This photo is my favourite from the shoot! <3 It's just too precious

From the old Box: Tootsies!!

Every one knows the pure magic of kitty footies, tootsies, or whatever humans call them. We just find them very useful, making it able for us to stalk our prey, steal your food or smother you in your sleep. They also help us our perfectly-build cat bodies. (find prove for this somewhere in this post) But I don't get why people like to pinch our soft cloud-like footies. They are the original Nike Air Max, why don't you go poke those?! Anyways, we don't mind if Mummy pokes our tootsies because 1) we simply don't care 2) all kinds of positive attention is desired and 3) Mum loves our tootsies :D
My tootsies are the first to worship. See their chocolate-chip cookie colour perfection? A very important aspect of my tootsies is that they make any ugly apparatus desirable! See that ugly black thing that makes sparks? With a magical movement I turn it into something fashionable. For humans with eagle vision, spot the perfect manicured nails! Next up is my sister!!
I have so-called stretchy tootsies! Without being aware of this, they swerve all over the place. Guess I have tootsies that need a lot of fresh air...FREEEEEEDOOOOOOMMM!! *no they're not Scottish* Could also be that my footies store extra heat. I like to be comfortable, so I'm also on top of the heat box. In the new house the heat box is seldom on, but Mummy gave us a new warm cuddle blanky! And it fuchsia pink :p (right now I'm purring really loudly so Mummy will give me attention! I like that even more than blankies or heat boxes! I love it when she scratches my chin...hihi that tickles :)

Anyway, get to the point. My sis has really lovely dark chocolate kitty cuddlies!

See how useful they can be? They help us clean ourselves! (as my sister demonstrates her!)

She also like to demonstrate how wonderfully flexible they are!

New Fanciness for the Kitties!

After a couple of chews and a lot of scratches they aren't that new any more, but they were the prettiest when Mummy gave them to us. They're comfortable, pink (where's my blue!! :( ), and have their own super awesome bling attached to it! Can you tell what it is? And can you guess which one is mine and which one is my sister's? Small hint: the blingies are heart and fish-shaped! And who likes food so much she needed to go on a diet? right :3 That would be meeee!
Best thing about our new collars is that they last so much longer than the old ones. After several months of scratchies they were nothing more than an ugly bundle of fluff. They just *had* to be replaced :3 Well, anyway, please enjoy these pictures of our new fashion accessories. (and watch me being sexy as well :p )
